Most of these beaches are comprised of powdery white sand, which is easy to walk in and beautiful to look at. Because of all the sand, snorkeling off the beaches is not preferred-there are other Cancun destinations where the snorkeling is much better. Instead, try beach volleyball, para-sailing, water bikes, or one of the other fun beach activities available in Cancun. The beaches here have something for everyone, so this is a great relaxing daytime activity.
