I really like my cat but have a hard time storing a large bag of food for her in such a small apartment. Storage room is very limited here but I have to have food on hand for her. As I went through a plastic container aisle one day I got an idea for storing her food. I got a plastic storage container that slides under my bed. It holds a lot of cat food. I buy the larger bags to save money. However the food will go stale if the bag is open. Cats can tell when their food has become stale and they will refuse to eat it. This plastic container not only stores it well but keeps it fresh. You can choose many shapes and sizes of plastic containers for your pet food. They all come with airtight lids to keep the food fresh.
