If you travel, it’s happened to you.  The nightmare of everyone else walking away from the carousel with their luggage and you’re left standing.  What do you do? What are your rights? 95% of the time luggage is delayed or mis-routed.  It may take you a day or two to get your luggage back. Airlines will reimburse you some of the expenses if you have lost airline luggage. It can take up to one month before an airline will declare your luggage officially lost.
